Why Choose Us?

Gentle Path at The Meadows is uniquely designed to treat these complex issues. We provide a safe and nurturing community composed of their peers where men are guided along their journey of recovery by looking not just at problematic behaviors but at the root causes behind acting out. The goal is for each person who comes through our doors to gain the courage to face difficult issues, heal from trauma, and become accountable for their own feelings, behaviors, and recovery.

Gentle Path at The Meadows

PAIN THAT REVERBERATES THROUGHOUT YOUR LIFE

Most of us have experienced a type of trauma in our lifetime. For some, it takes the form of bullying. For others, it’s physical abuse or sexual abuse that can have a lasting negative impact. Abandonment, whether from an addicted, emotionally absent, or disapproving parent or partner, can leave lasting emotional scars. Loss is another common source of trauma, whether from the death of a loved one, or a divorce, or other loss, it can result in devastating grief. Even something as seemingly positive as adoption can cause emotional issues as some adoptees struggle with identity issues, feelings of abandonment, or questions of self-worth. Whatever the source, the results are similar.
