About Us

Evidence-based treatment for this very real, but often misunderstood, disorder

This time really can be different

Your sexual behavior has likely led to negative consequences in your life and that’s why you’re here. You’ve probably wrestled with urges and you don’t really understand, and you’ve tried to overcome these issues yourself, promising that this time will be different. But sexual addiction isn’t a moral failing or a lack of willpower. We treat these conditions as what they are — disorders — taking a proven clinical approach and getting to the root issues to help you find lasting healing.

Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder (CSBD) is defined as an impulse disorder characterized by a persistent pattern of failure to control intense, repetitive sexual impulses or urges resulting in repetitive sexual behavior and recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) in the latest edition of its International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-11).

45 Days that can
change everything

Anyone who comes to us to address their sexual addiction issues follows a proven timeline designed to help them identify, understand, treat, and overcome their addictions. This includes six weeks of inpatient treatment, preparing each patient to continue the healing process once they return home. This information guides the creation of a completely personalized treatment plan that includes the most progressive and well-researched sex addiction and trauma treatment available.

Sexual Addiction is just the beginning

Gentle Path at The Meadows was designed especially for men dealing with sexual addiction, but we’ve also found that many of the men we treat have trauma at the core of their issues. They may also come to us with co-occurring substance abuse or mental health disorders.

A home away from home

We are just 50 miles away from Phoenix, but it feels like we’re a world away. We offer professional, clinical treatment at a facility  with a  decidedly un-clinical feel. We’ve gone out of our way to make sure spaces are casual and comfortable. The peacefulness of the desert setting lends itself to healing and renewal, too. But don’t take our word for it. See for yourself.
