Paying for Treatment

From in-network to private pay options

How to Pay for Treatment

Admitting you need help is hard enough without worrying about how you’re going to pay for it. Our trained financial coordinators will walk you through the process and go over your financial options, including private pay and insurance.

Because insurance policies and benefits vary greatly, we recommend that you provide Gentle Path with your insurance information prior to arrival on campus so that our staff can work with your provider to determine what they will cover. This allows us to validate benefits at the beginning of the admissions process, as well as coordinate with our treatment team, medical director, and clinical director to authorize the necessity for a continuum of care such as:

  • Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
  • Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
  • Other levels of outpatient care

This free service is offered to create the most appropriate level of ongoing care for the patient through a plan that will offset any out-of-pocket expenses.

Getting the Most from Your Benefits

At Gentle Path, our financial coordinators have an expert understanding of both in-network and out-of-network benefits and are trained to work with insurance companies on behalf of our clients to find the best possible solutions for them. Our staff will work closely with your provider to streamline the process for the patient and secure the maximum benefit available.

Your insurance carrier or managed care company will ultimately determine the suitability of care based on your presenting issue(s) and may certify a portion of a patient’s stay.

We are currently in-network with Multiplan, Sana Benefits, and TRICARE, and our financial coordinators are experts in working with out-of-network benefits, including:

Humana  |  Anthem  |  Cigna  |  United Healthcare  |  and more

Financing Options

Our main concern is providing treatment and helping people find a more fulfilling life in recovery. When insurance coverage does not apply, our financial coordinators will review costs and payment options, working with patients to make arrangements that fit their financial situation. Financing for treatment may be available through CareCredit (not affiliated with Meadows Behavioral Healthcare).
